Do you long for more and deeper connection with others and/or yourself?
Do you sometimes feel alone even though we’re more “socially networked” than ever?
Are you looking for people in life who you can just fully be yourself with?
Authentic Relating can give you all of that and more:
It’s a set of practices for listening & speaking that help you spark rich, meaningful and deep connections.
Not just with the people in your life but also with yourself.
And you learn them in the form of fun little games, experiments and exercises.
People who went to previous workshops described it as:
“Having 10 minute conversations with strangers that somehow make you feel like you’ve known each other forever.”
Or even:
“Finding back parts of yourself that had been lost since early childhood.”
Personally, I’d describe it as a yoga class for your social skills.
Some people might join to stretch themselves a bit, learn new moves, or become more mindful in conversations.
Some might join just to make new friends.
For yet another person, it can change their entire experience of life.
Every 2 weeks, we’ll be diving into practice & games with a different focus or topic, while meeting people and creating deep, nourishing connections in the process.
(All these events use English as a common language, unless the entire group has another language in common.)
In this workshop we explore and practice tools for turning interpersonal conflict into an opportunity for deeper intimacy.
What happens if instead of seeing conflict as a battle we must “win”, we see it as a way to connect more deeply with the needs, perspectives an emotions that live inside us and the other?
When we are angry, how can we voice ourselves in a way that communicates our point without harm?
When someone comes at us with a charge, how can we receive them in a way that contributes to more connection?
